MESSAGE TO PSHS BATCH II

   When one is asked for a message stretching to more than two decades back, from one who is at the twilight stage of her career, this should normally be quite difficult. But my memories of Batch II is very clearly etched in my mind, since my first-born belongs to your class.

   Batch II started out in 1965 with 128 freshmen, but with only 94 graduating five years after, and still others dead, lost or waylaid in the turmoil of activism in the early 70's. We are sure that you know more about these details in your follow-up for this yearbook.

   Your enthusiasm and interest in coming up with this project, at a time when most of you are still starting your careers is very heartwarming. It shows your love, devotion and commitment to our institutional goals. Keep this up, and let it be forever.

   We note that former PSHS'ers aspire to have their children come to PSHS. We are now producing second-generation PSHS'ers, and this is clearly an indicator of success. We further note that quite a number of Batch II are contenders for the "Gawad Lagablab" awards of the PSHS Alumni association. Congratulations!
