It is enlightening to note that even for more than twenty years that has passed, the camaraderie amongst you scholars has gone stronger and gained considerable fruits both for the school and for the country. Considered as the second pioneer group of scholars ever produced by the school, you and your professional accomplishments represent the tangible outputs expected of the Philippine Science High School. Twenty one years back I was your biology teacher then. I was eager to partake of whatever knowledge I could offer while those shining eyes certainly showed eagerness and the drive to learn. Today, the same enthusiasm I see, though with a different purpose, all the more tells me that there are some things that never change.
